Personal Loan: Apply Online with FundsForSure

By the FundsForSure team ยท Updated 2 November 2026

A personal loan is an unsecured loan you can use for medical bills, a wedding, travel, home repairs or paying off costlier debt. You don't pledge any property or gold; lenders decide based on your income, credit score and job or business history. FundsForSure checks your application, tells you exactly which documents you need, and sends your file to partner banks and NBFCs. We don't charge borrowers.

Who can apply

Salaried employees, self-employed professionals, business owners and pensioners can all apply. Lenders typically look for:

  • Age 20 to 58 years
  • Income of โ‚น20,000 or more a month if salaried (some lenders ask for โ‚น25,000โ€“โ‚น30,000)
  • Credit (CIBIL) score of 700 or above
  • Stability: 3โ€“6 months in your current job, or a business running for 2โ€“3 years

What decides your rate and amount

  • Credit score: a higher score usually means a lower rate and a higher amount.
  • Income and existing EMIs: lenders usually want all your EMIs together to stay within about half of your take-home pay.
  • Job or business stability: longer, steadier employment or business history helps.
  • Tenure: a longer tenure lowers the EMI but increases the total interest. For example, โ‚น3 lakh at 12% a year over 3 years costs โ‚น9,964 a month (EMI calculator).

Frequently asked questions

Does FundsForSure charge for a personal loan application?

No. FundsForSure does not charge borrowers. Lenders set their own interest rate and processing fee, which they show in their offer before you accept.

Can I get a personal loan with a low CIBIL score?

It is harder. Lenders typically look for a score of 700 or above. With a lower score, some lenders may still offer a loan, usually for a smaller amount or at a higher rate. Paying existing EMIs and cards on time for a few months improves your score.

Can I get a personal loan without salary slips?

Some lenders accept a salary certificate instead. FundsForSure asks salaried applicants for their last 3 months of salary slips, with no substitute, so that your application is accepted by every lender we send it to.

Is a personal loan secured?

No. A personal loan is unsecured: you do not pledge property, gold or other assets. That is why lenders look closely at your income, credit score and job or business stability.
